A. You can add a new goal by clicking Add Goal to the right of All Goals from the AdBuyer.com dashboard located under the Centralize tab.
Q. How do I create a new campaign?
A. You can set up a new campaign in two different ways:
1) If it is a new offer type or CPA target, you should create a new goal. You will see a link for creating a new goal at the top of the tree structure on the left side of the Dashboard. After you create your new goal, it will ask you if you wish to create a search or display campaign.
2) If you wish to create a new campaign in an existing goal, expand the tree on the left side of the dashboard and click on Display Campaigns under the goal to which you wish to add the campaign. Click on the Add button next to Display Campaigns.
Q. Should I create a new goal for every new campaign?
A. No, you may have multiple campaigns per goal provided they share the same CPA or ROAS goal. Display campaigns in the same goal should also share the same offer type.
PRICING & BUDGET
Q. What is your minimum daily budget for display ad campaigns?
A. We bid on your behalf in the ad exchanges, so there are no fixed minimums. As a practical matter, you're unlikely to get good results without spending at least $100/day.

A. The inventory quality varies dramatically - we recommend a $2.00 dynamic CPM. Your effective CPM will typically be 50-60% of your bid. CPC is not recommended.

CONVERSION TRACKING AND PIXELS
Q. Where is the conversion tracking code located?
A. The conversion tracking code is located in the AdBuyer interface. After you've logged in, click "Conversion tracking" to access the pixel.
Q. Which goal type should I select -- Value per lead (CPA) or Return on ad spend (ROAS)? What value should I enter?
A. We're trying to understand how you measure "success" for your campaigns. We allow you to select one of two solutions:
1) CPA. This is the amount of money you associate with each new customer or lead. It's sometimes described as the lifetime value (LTV) of your customer. We will attempt to reach your goals by buying advertising at a lower cost than your CPA.
2) Return on ad spend (ROAS) is for e-commerce clients or others who have a value per transaction that varies on each transaction. For example a 100% ROAS means that the client is looking for $1.00 in revenue for every $1.00 in advertising spend.
Option 2 requires a more extensive technical setup. For starters, we recommend focusing your efforts around an appropriate value per customer or lead.
Q. I've selected ROAS as my goal type, where is the conversion pixel?
A. Conversion pixels for display campaigns are only available for CPA campaigns at this time. Please edit your goal to CPA to access a conversion pixel.
Q. How can I obtain a secure pixel?
A. Click the box on the conversion tracking page to change the pixel to secure.
TARGETING
Q. How do I select demographic targeting?
A. Demographic targeting options can be found under the 'Ad Exchange Settings' under 'Edit Campaign'. You must select 'I'd like to select specific targeting settings for my campaigns' first. Demographic targeting does not work with Audience Scores and is only available on 10% of all sites on the exchange.
Q. Should I choose Audience Score or my own custom demographic targeting?
A. We highly recommend using Audience Scores. Only 10% of the sites in the exchanges provide demographic information, so demographic data really limits your volume.
