Audience Scores

Audience Scores drive better results faster by focusing your campaigns on the sites and placements that work for advertisers like you!

 

Audience Score overview: We anonymously pool results across our marketers to determine which sites & placements work well for our advertisers. We use metrics that are important to online marketers including click-through rate, conversion rate and total sales. Each placement receives a score between 0-100; higher scores are better. We allow you to specify the minimum threshold for each of your campaigns, eliminating the waste of spending ad dollars on sites that been ineffective for marketers like you. 

 

Audience Scores are available for Direct Response Advertisers as well as specific advertiser categories: B-to-B, Careers, Dating, Education, Giveaways, Health & Beauty, Shopping, Software, and Vice.  We will be adding more categories in the near future.

 

Audience Scores improve with experience: The Audience Score technology automatically learns from the traffic your campaign receives and your results will improve over time. Every impression you run works toward building a personalized version of Audience Scores for your campaigns.

 

Using other targeting options with Audience Scores: Audience Finder offers one-step targeting, eliminating the need for individually targeting sites, demographics, contextual targets or behavioral segments. Simply choose your desired geography and language settings, and we’ll help find your target audience based on the type of offer you are promoting. 

 

Getting started with Audience Scores: We recommend that clients start by targeting a minimum Audience Score threshold of 60. That means you will target only the best performing 40% of placements that we’ve measured. This will provide a good combination of volume and high-quality sites. 

 

Adjusting your settings based on performance: A higher minimum score will restrict the number of placements that your campaign runs on. This can deliver lower volume, but often frequently help to improve your return on ad spend (ROAS). Conversely, a lower minimum score will allow you to get more volume for campaigns that are working well. We recommend trying a variety of settings to find what works best for your offer.

 

How is this different from an ad network?  We are identifying high performing placements and sites across hundreds of ad networks.  By using Audience Finder you are building your very own custom ad network that is specifically designed to maximize your performance, with no extra filler to deliver yield to publishers. Audience Finder is constantly learning to deliver better results for you.

 

Can I see a list of what’s included? No. The list is constantly evolving and many sites do not wish their involvement with ad exchanges to be made public. We screen out hate sites, porn sites, and other nasties, but rely on our algorithms to sort through the rest.
